(Ages 4-10) Through farm-based activities and hands-on experiences children in this class will learn about the importance of the farm in our lives. Lessons also emphasis themes of environmental stewardship, community building, and relationships. Some farm activities include care-taking farm animals and plants, sowing seeds, planting and harvesting, cooking from farm resources, learning traditional skills like butter making and spinning yarn, and just playing in the out door, farm environment.
