What is CSA? Community Supported Agriculture(CSA) is a way of providing members of a community with fresh, seasonal produce grown on a local farm. A CSA consists of a community of individuals who pledge support to a farming operation where the growers and consumers share the risks and benefits of food production.
Why CSA? CSAs help support small-scale local farmers, like ourselves, as well as assist in strengthening a communities food system. You receive the most nutritious, fresh, seasonal produce grown chemically-free, and you’re preserving the environment by dramatically reducing the miles that your food travels from farm to table. Finally, farmers and consumers build a friendship and community!
How Do CSAs Work? You, the consumer, simply purchase a CSA Membership and receive a weekly share of our harvest throughout the duration of the season. You’ll pick up your produce from our Denton distribution site- Dan’s Silverleaf.
