Discover the FARM
Time: 9:00-3:30 – Fee:$185 – Limit: 24 campers/session,
At camp the farm is our outdoor classroom! We will explore farm animal and garden habitats to unfold the stories and interconnections of the plants, animals, ourselves and the land. By the end of the week campers might make a discovery while tending our resident chickens, fulfill a curiosity about the life of a farmer, or feed their creativity using vegetables from the fields! Campers will deepen a sense of belonging as we build community and learn the importance of the farm in our lives.
Little Chickens will explore the farm habitats to make connections to food and the natural world. A typical day begins with tending the chickens or gardens before gathering in the education garden for hands-on exploring and developmentally appropriate activities. We get to know the farm animals and plants, enjoy story times under shade trees, and follow our curiosities wherever they may lead us. Little Chickens Farm Camp is held outdoors.
